KUWAIT CITY, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah condemned on Sunday a deadly bomb attack in Afghanistan's western province of Herat.

In a cable of condolence to Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, Sheikh Sabah expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation of such a criminal act that targeted innocent lives and goes against all human values.

He wished speedy recovery for all injured.

The bomb attack hit Obe district of Herat on Saturday, killing at least four Afghan civilians, and wounding 14 people including a district chief.
